Description
The Rookie (1990) — Starring Clint Eastwood, Charlie Sheen, Tom Skerritt | Rated R
An old cop. A new partner. A very bad situation.
Clint Eastwood plays a veteran detective who is saddled with a young, wealthy rookie partner as they pursue a ruthless German car theft kingpin through the streets of Los Angeles. Eastwood directed this propulsive action thriller with his trademark efficiency — it’s a muscular, no-nonsense buddy cop film with memorable set pieces and a villainous turn from Raul Julia.
Eastwood in full command — fast, tough, and entertaining from start to finish.
