Description
East of the Mountains (2021) — Starring Tom Skerritt, Mira Sorvino, Annie Gonzalez | Rated NR
A dying man sets out on one last journey — and finds reasons to live.
Tom Skerritt delivers a career-crowning performance as a retired heart surgeon diagnosed with terminal cancer who sets out into the mountains of Eastern Washington with his dog for one final hunting trip. What he finds on that journey challenges everything he thought he had decided. Quietly devastating and genuinely beautiful, East of the Mountains is a film about grief, memory, and the stubborn persistence of hope.
Tom Skerritt at the height of his powers — a film of rare grace and quiet power.
