Description
War Hunt (1962) — Starring John Saxon, Robert Redford, Tom Skerritt | Rated NR
In the final days of the Korean War, one soldier crossed a line no one could follow.
Set during the ceasefire negotiations of the Korean War, War Hunt follows a platoon haunted by a knife-wielding loner who slips behind enemy lines each night to kill. Robert Redford’s screen debut and Tom Skerritt’s first film role, it’s a lean, unsettling character study about the thin line between soldier and predator — and what war does to men on both sides of it.
A remarkable debut for two future stars — and a war film unlike any other.
