Description
HAWK THE SLAYER (1980) — DVD | John Terry | Jack Palance | Bernard Bresslaw | PG
One sword. One hero. One irredeemably evil brother.
Hawk (John Terry) wields the ancient Mind Sword and assembles a motley band of warriors — an elf, a giant, a dwarf, and a blind witch — to bring down his power-mad, scenery-devouring brother Voltan (Jack Palance). This enormously entertaining 1980 British fantasy adventure is one of the great cult films of its era: earnest, outrageous, and completely committed.
Hawk rides again. And Voltan should be very, very worried.
