Description
Time Bandits (1981) — Starring John Cleese, Sean Connery, Ralph Richardson | Rated PG
Six time-traveling dwarfs and a small boy on a heist through history.
Terry Gilliam’s wildly imaginative adventure follows young Kevin as he is swept up with a gang of six dwarfs who have stolen a map of holes in the space-time continuum from the Supreme Being — and intend to use it to rob history’s greatest civilizations. Their journey takes them from Napoleon’s court to the deck of the Titanic to the legend of Agamemnon, all while the personification of Evil pursues them across time. Time Bandits is wondrous, dark, funny, and utterly unlike anything else ever made.
History was full of treasure. They planned to take most of it.
