THREE FOR THE ROAD (1987) — DVD | Charlie Sheen | Kerri Green | Alan Ruck | PG
The road trip was supposed to be simple. It was not simple.
Charlie Sheen and Kerri Green in this entertaining 1980s road comedy about a young political aide assigned to escort a senator’s difficult and rebellious daughter across the country — a journey that goes progressively sideways in ways neither of them planned and that turns out to be more meaningful than either expected. Alan Ruck in a film of genuine 1980s road movie comedy warmth.
Three people. One car. No plan that survived contact with reality.
