Jerry Green (Jeff Bridges) is a daydreaming department store toy buyer. Jenny Moore (Farrah Fawcett) is a housewife with a very inconvenient husband. When the husband winds up dead — and the evidence points uncomfortably toward both of them — Jerry and Jenny have to solve the murder themselves to avoid becoming the prime suspects.
A light, witty and surprisingly charming romantic comedy-mystery from director Lamont Johnson, featuring genuine chemistry between two of the era’s most watchable stars. A lovely, underappreciated film from the late 1970s.
