Their son was killed for no reason. The grief had nowhere to go.
Ray Winstone and Pauline Quirke in this raw and powerfully observed British drama about a working-class family’s overwhelming grief and rage following the senseless killing of their teenage son — a film that refuses to sentimentalize loss and instead shows grief in all its ugly violent and consuming reality. Neil Dudgeon in a production of exceptional British social realist drama.
