When the eccentric Cyrus Norman dies, his relatives are summoned to his isolated Louisiana mansion for the reading of the will — ten years after his death, as he specified. But the terms of the will include a sinister catch, a mysterious killer lurks among the shadows of the old house, and wise-cracking coward Wally Campbell (Bob Hope) may be the only thing standing between Joyce and disaster.
