They’re on a mission from God. Chicago is not prepared.
Jake and Elwood Blues (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd) set out to save their childhood orphanage by putting their band back together and staging a concert, with half of Chicago’s law enforcement in pursuit. John Landis’s 1980 musical comedy masterpiece features Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Cab Calloway, and more — and the greatest car chase sequence in cinema history.
It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses.
