Denise Richards stars as Tammy, a high school cheerleader whose life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Michael (Paul Walker) is brutally attacked and left for dead by a jealous ex and a gang of thugs. But the story doesn’t end there — not even close.

In a twist only ‘90s cinema could fully commit to, Michael’s brain is secretly implanted into a gigantic robotic Tyrannosaurus rex by a deranged scientist (Terry Kiser). What follows is a surreal rampage of teenage love, revenge, and dinosaur-sized chaos as Tammy reconnects with her boyfriend… who now happens to be a roaring, metal-bodied T-Rex.

Directed by Stewart Raffill, the film leans fully into its absurd premise with straight-faced sincerity, making it even more unforgettable. It swings wildly between romantic teen drama, gore-soaked revenge, and rubbery sci-fi spectacle — and somehow, it all just works in its own chaotic way.

Over the years, Tammy and the T-Rex has become a beloved cult oddity, especially after rediscovered versions restored its more outrageous gore and comedy elements. It’s the kind of film that defies explanation and demands to be seen to be believed.
