SCANDALOUS (1984) — DVD | Robert Hays | Ron Travis | M. Emmet Walsh | PG
He went to London for a story. The story tried to get him killed.
Robert Hays and M. Emmet Walsh in this light and entertaining comic mystery thriller about an American journalist in London who stumbles into a dangerous web of blackmail schemes and murder — a film of genuine light thriller comedy energy and the particular appeal of an American fish-out-of-water in the middle of a very British conspiracy. Ron Travis in a production of real comic mystery fun.
The scandal was bigger than he expected. So was the danger.
