Based on Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot novel After the Funeral (with Poirot replaced by Marple) and featuring the sparkling chemistry between Rutherford and Stringer Davis, Murder at the Gallop is the sharpest, most purely enjoyable film of the series.
