He was Britain’s most wanted man. He intended to stay free.
John McVicar (Roger Daltrey) was once called Britain’s most dangerous criminal — a man who escaped from maximum-security prison not once but twice. Adam Faith and Cheryl Campbell co-star in this tough, compelling 1980 British crime drama based on McVicar’s own autobiography, which examines what drove a man to a life of crime and what it cost him.
He broke out. Breaking free was harder.
