When Terry, Helen and Phil discover Rothgo (Ron Moody) — a powerful but dying wizard imprisoned deep in a cave — they agree to help him recover the Nidus, the source of his power stolen by the beautiful and wicked sorceress Belor (Pamela Salem). The labyrinth allows them to travel through time, meeting Rothgo in different historical incarnations across ancient Greece, the English Civil War, the Alamo and beyond — while Belor matches them at every turn.
