A group of Japanese schoolgirls travel to a remote country house belonging to one of their aunts — and over the course of a single extraordinary night, each one is consumed by the house in a manner that is bizarre, colourful, frequently hilarious and genuinely terrifying. A piano eats a girl. A clock attacks. A mattress swallows another. The house itself has a hunger that is utterly without logic or mercy.
