Dennis Hopper plays an Abbie Hoffman-esque sixties activist and prankster who proceeds to literally unravel his escort’s carefully constructed front through a series of slippery mind games Amazon — and Kiefer Sutherland is pitch-perfect as the rigid, unraveling agent who slowly realizes the ’60s might not be as dead as he thought.

A very funny and enjoyable movie — Hopper brings Huey Walker to life as an outdated hippy coming out of hiding after over twenty years, while Sutherland does a great job as the strict, by-the-book fed John Buckner. Movie Buffs Forever

This one is increasingly hard to find on physical media. If you’re a fan of Dennis Hopper, Kiefer Sutherland, or sharp comedies with real edge and heart — don’t sleep on it.
