An Italian-American co-production directed by Mario Bava (Bay of Blood, Blood and Black Lace) with his characteristic visual flair, Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs is knowing, campy and intermittently very funny genre comedy elevated by Vincent Price’s magnificent refusal to stop being entertaining in any circumstances whatsoever.
The plan was insane. The villain was magnificent.
