A serial killer wearing scuba gear has been using Amsterdam’s famous network of canals to stalk and murder victims without leaving a single trace above the waterline. Detective Eric Visser (Huub Stapel) is assigned to the case — a case with no precedent, no profile and no suspects — while navigating a growing romance with a museum guide (Monique van de Ven) who may be closer to the killer than either of them realise.
